I've coached athletes for 15 years. The mental side was the part nobody was teaching.
Athletes are told to be confident, stay focused, and shake off mistakes. Almost no one shows them how.
I built Think Strong. Play Strong. to change that, with practical mental performance training that coaches and athletes can actually use.
Work with meMental skills deserve the same preparation as physical ones.

Long before anyone taught me the mental side of the game.
For more than 15 years, I've coached athletes and teams in different capacities, including as a strength and conditioning coach. We planned every part of their physical preparation: strength, speed, conditioning, recovery.
The mental side was left to chance.
I'll never forget watching one of the soccer players I coached fall to his knees, crying, when the opponent scored.
His head coach didn't know what to say. The parents ignored it.
When I pulled him aside to check on him, he cried even harder. He thought I'd pulled him out because he wasn't playing well enough.
That moment showed me two gaps:
The mental side wasn't being ignored on purpose. It just wasn't being taught. Coaches were expected to handle it without the tools, and athletes were expected to figure it out on their own.
So I became a certified mental performance coach and started building the systems I wished that player and his coach had.
Systems, not speeches.
Motivation fades. A plan holds up. Everything I create is built to be practiced, repeated, and used in real moments, not just talked about once.
Can / Can't Control
Helps athletes put their energy into what they can actually influence.
The 3-Part Reset
Acknowledge. Reset your body. Refocus. A simple way to recover from mistakes in the moment.
The Focus Grid
Builds the ability to lock in and stay present under pressure.
Why I work
through coaches
Coaches are with their athletes every day. When a coach knows how to teach and reinforce mental skills, those skills carry through the whole season, not just one session.
